Draft for owner review. This page is not represented as legal advice or as the final policy guests will accept. Version draft-2026-10-17.

Status of this notice

This notice is a draft for the owner to finish before launch. It describes how this staging site is built. It is not a legal determination of retention periods or of which privacy statute applies.

What we collect

A stay request asks for arrival and departure dates, the number of adults and children, the lead guest’s name, email, and phone number, and an optional short message. You are also asked to acknowledge the house rules and this notice.

If the stay is approved, the private reservation page can collect the names of the other people who will stay. We do not ask you to upload government identification.

Payment card numbers are entered on Stripe’s website. We store Stripe’s payment identifiers, the amount, the currency, and the paid or refunded status. We do not store card numbers on this site.

What we do not collect

We do not run marketing trackers, advertising cookies, or a third-party analytics product on this site. A cookie banner is not shown because this launch setup does not use tracking cookies. The host sign-in uses a necessary session cookie.

We do not send guest details or this website’s bookings to Airbnb. An Airbnb calendar address, if one is configured, is stored privately and is used only to read blocked dates.

How requests are used

We use the details to review the request, hold approved dates, take the quoted payment, and send the messages needed to run the stay: acknowledgement, approval, payment result, expiry, and cancellation. Messages link to a private page instead of repeating a guest list in email.

Private reservation links are long random tokens. Treat a link as a secret. We store only a hash of the token.

Keeping and deleting records

The staging configuration uses a working retention note of 24 months after checkout so the owner can see the setting. That number is not a claim about a legally required period. Backup copies follow the hosting account’s backup cycle, which still has to be confirmed.

To ask for a correction or deletion once a contact mailbox is published, use the contact form. We may need to keep a record where a payment, a dispute, or a legal obligation requires it. The owner will confirm that exception before launch.

Hosting and email

The site is intended for the existing Hostinger hosting account. Mail is sent through a mailbox on that account when SMTP is configured. No separate paid email platform is included. Until SMTP is connected, messages stay in a queue the host can see.
